Hub Connections - Relearning Healthy Habits

We are delighted to announce that Hub Connection returns, and this time it is a face to face live event!

To mark this, we have lined up an afternoon of presentations and activities centred around -

'Relearning Healthy Habits; Looking After Yourself.'

The pandemic meant we may have slipped from our usual healthy habits. We have invited experts who will guide us through the building blocks to getting back to a healthier you!

Hub Connections explores good practices and new ways to enhance and improve our health and wellbeing. Making such lifestyle changes is particularly challenging in the current economic climate, so we're excited to welcome Chef V, who will show us how to cook healthy food on a budget and use our leftovers creatively.

Healthy eating goes hand-in-hand with regular exercise and helps us lead a healthy lifestyle. At Hub Connections, we like to get active - and this has been somewhat challenging during our virtual events - so we're really excited to once again have some dance activities without the constraints of our living rooms.

There will also be a flower arranging demonstration from The Flower Bank, a zero-waste enterprise creating affordable flower arrangements. Founder Ursula Stone repurposes flowers past their sell-by dates and provides them to people on limited incomes at a low cost.

Updates will also be provided by the Barnet Wellbeing Service and its partners.

Food and refreshments will be on offer, with an opportunity to network and visit community stalls.

Please register using the link below if you would like to attend, so we can ensure enough food is available.

We hope to see you there!
