(LBB) Safeguarding Children and Young People Level 1 Training for VCS and Faith Groups

Are you currently working as a volunteer for a local community group? Or are you a member of a faith organisation?

If so, then you could benefit from our FREE Safeguarding Children and Young People Level 1 Training taking place on the following dates: 

Sunday 22nd September 2pm to 5pm 

At Barnet Hill Academy 10a Montagu Rd, Hendon, London NW4 3ES

We are delivering this FREE training in partnership with London Borough of Barnet and is suitable for people new to safeguarding or anyone looking to refresh their Safeguarding knowledge

During the 3 hours you will:

1. Be aware of different types of abuse
2. Be able to identify signs & symptoms of abuse
3. Understand your role & responsibilities when dealing with a disclosure of abuse
4. Understand confidentiality and information sharing
5. Understand what to do if a young person discloses to you
6. Be familiar with the process for dealing with allegations against staff
7. Know the safeguarding arrangements at your workplace or place of worship

Each particpant will receive a Learners pack and a certificate upon completion
